It’s one of those things that has fallen off the bottom of the ‘to do’ list more times than I care to imagine but the Ridge & Furrow Shop is now, at last, live.
Being self employed really builds your skillset: I am the accounts department; brand developer; the marketing team; logistics manager; tea girl; artist; technician; seamstress; photographer and also website developer. Is it any wonder some things take a long time to get around to.
I promised to tell you first, so i’m giving you the nod. It’s not my area of expertise so please be gentle with me if you find any glitches (i’d also be grateful if you could let me know if you find any)
The first items on the new site are pieces of mine in lime and ink set in vintage frames. There’s more on my creative practice here if you’re interested.
Each piece is drawn from an obsession with time's colouration; historic paper and textile fragments; and the stories woven through hidden layers and domestic decoration.
